Keynote Speaker: Weezie Nuara, Assistant Secretary, Federal and Regional Energy Affairs, Advancing the Commonwealth's Clean Energy Transition through Interstate Coordination and Regional Collaboration

Currently serving as Assistant Secretary for Federal and Regional Energy Affairs at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, where she is focused on interstate coordination and regional collaboration to accelerate the Commonwealth’s clean energy transition. Weezie previously worked for Dominion Energy as State Policy Director for New England, where she was responsible for all local, state, and regional policy matters impacting Dominion Energy’s Millstone Nuclear Power Station in Waterford, Connecticut. Prior to that, she served as External Affairs Representative, and eventually Senior External Affairs Representative for ISO New England, the region's grid operator. Weezie sits on the Board of Directors for New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE). NEWIEE harnesses the passion, intelligence, and leadership experience of New England women to promote and encourage public interest in the energy and environment sectors.
