Understanding Water Risk, Assessments, and Real-World Efficiency Solutions

Today’s organizations are faced with the greatest water risk in recent history, with rates increasing 43% in the last decade, enhanced public and investor pressure on disclosure of water reduction goals, and historic droughts threatening business’s license to operate. Based on where an organization is in their water efficiency journey, we’ll explore what water assessment levels might add the most value and what the client could expect as a result. Specific technologies will then be reviewed and a financial analysis performed for each to demonstrate potential cost and usage savings under ‘real world’ scenarios.

Chris brings nearly 15 years of water efficiency expertise to his clients, routinely developing water reduction strategies for Fortune 500 companies. As a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with a BS in Watershed Administration and a transatlantic MBA from a university in Germany, Chris offers a unique perspective when evaluating opportunities for his clients. In his role as Director of Water Services at Burton Energy Group, he believes water efficiency is a natural complement to most energy programs, offering a holistic approach to utility expense management and a more comprehensive ESG strategy.

Chris regularly audits facilities in a variety of verticals, ranging from semiconductor chip manufacturing to college campuses, and everything in between, with average savings of 15-30% commonly identified.

He is an avid outdoorsman, triathlete, father to two amazing children, and husband to an incredible wife.
