Speaker Bio
Kate Michaud is the Town Manager of the Town of Warren, Rhode Island, where she manages all departments and day-to-day operations. Kate is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and holds a certification as a Climate Change Professional (CC-P). She serves on the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee for the RI League of Cities and Towns, the Steering Committee of the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program, and is a Trustee and a member of the Risk Management Committee for the Rhode Island Interlocal Risk Management Trust. Kate is also a Senior Fellow at the University of Rhode Island’s Coastal Institute and in 2022, she was recognized as the Local Leader of the Year by RI Clean Water Action.
