Sustainable Energy as a Service: Own the Solution, not the Equipment
Abstract After a 15 minute presentation participants will understand a new way to implement comprehensive, multi-measure energy and water efficiency upgrades at their facilities. Specifically, participants will:
• Understand the financial, technical, operational and sustainability benefits associated with the implementation of comprehensive energy and water efficiency upgrades under a Sustainable Energy Services Agreement (SESA) versus traditional capital budgeting.
• Review the legal and financial nuts and bolts that underpin SESA projects and describe how they enable off-balance sheet accounting treatment, de-risk projects and generate positive cash flow.
At the end of the presentation, we will leave time for questions.
