Commissioning with Data: Opportunities and Successes Using Data to Enhance Commissioning for Performance

Commissioning in a data-forward environment presents Commissioning Agents with tremendous opportunities and challenges. Learn from our experiences how to utilize data to supplement and support commissioning processes to improve building performance, reduce issues and provide value for owners. Presentation will highlight two technologies that are changing how CxAs interact with data to improve efficiency and results.

Michael Senger boasts more than 17 years of experience in the building design and construction industry, with a focus on sustainable design, energy efficiency, and building optimization. He serves as the Building Optimization Technical Leader at HEAPY, an engineering design, commissioning, and construction administration firm headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. As a leader, Michael is focused on enhancing teamwork, improving project efficiency, and fostering authentic collaboration. His expertise includes building optimization, LEED project management, and carbon neutrality planning and execution.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and USGBC LEED Accredited Professional.
