Steve Skarda is the Senior Director of Greenhouse Gas Technical Innovation at P&G where he is responsible for delivering new technologies for decarbonizing P&G’s Product Supply operations.  Steve has been working at P&G in Engineering for over 25 years.  He has his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a masters in Sustainable Systems Engineering.  Over the last decade he was responsible for leading a team focused on a science-based goal to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions.  During that time, P&G eliminated more than 50% of their emissions through energy efficiency and renewable energy.  Today, the company is committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across their operations and supply chain, from raw material to retailer, by 2040 as well as interim 2030 goals to make meaningful progress this decade.
