Abstract:

Mechanical Vapor Re-Compression (MVR) technology is revolutionizing industrial processes by drastically reducing thermal energy demand and carbon emissions. This presentation will showcase three impactful case studies demonstrating the versatility and effectiveness of MVR.
At Pannonia Bio, Europe’s largest biorefinery, MVR integration has optimized steam reuse, significantly cutting energy costs and emissions. Similarly, in Norway, ANEO collaborated with PILLER to install an industrial heat pump system incorporating MVR, reducing the carbon footprint of a leading pet food manufacturer while enhancing operational efficiency. At Chivas Brothers’ Allt’A Bhainne and Glentacuhers Distilleries, MVR has been pivotal in reducing energy intensity in distilled spirits production, supporting ambitious sustainability targets.
Through these examples, attendees will gain insights into the practical application of MVR in diverse industries, the challenges encountered, and the strategies employed to achieve transformative energy savings. Join this presentation to explore how these innovations provide scalable solutions for industrial energy challenges and align with the global push for decarbonization.
Key Takeaways:
• Learn how MVR optimizes energy use across industries.
• Gain actionable insights from real-world case studies.
• Discover pathways to integrate MVR into your energy strategy.
