What to Know Before Chasing Investment Tax Credits
Renewable energy tax credits available through the ITC are becoming widely recognized, but some projects are missing out on the maximum credit they could receive. There are numerous nuances of the ITC that, if overlooked, can result in lower-than-expected tax benefits and hinder the overall financial performance of renewable investments.
In this session, we will explore best practices for maximizing tax benefits through Investment Tax Credits. From the perspective of an experienced energy tax incentive expert, we will share what you need to know, like the impact of project size, the intricacies of domestic content requirements, and the complexities of the Prevailing Wage Apprenticeship requirement. We will also discuss the critical importance of timing, property ownership considerations, and the value of seeking expert help to navigate these challenges.
Attendees will walk away with the knowledge to identify key factors and evaluate opportunities to achieve the full potential of renewable energy tax credits for their projects.
