Are You Ready to Electrify? Understanding what you need in distribution and new technology to help you achieve
| Electrification is moving forward at a fast rate and with the changes in equipment from adding heat pumps to reducing use of fuel oil and natural gas there is a need to focus on the electric supply and the distribution system to enable this electrification in a safe and effective manner. This session will discuss the best practices on analysis of facility and campus needs, application of new technology to implement needed changes and O&M technology to make electrification a long-term and safe strategy. Attendee take-aways will include newest electric technology to assist in helping the end user electrify facilities, lessons learned from projects and tips on how to effectively approach electrification strategy. |
Speaker Bio
Mr. Campbell is a Federal Business Development Manager at Siemens Smart Infrastructure serving Federal government and military clients with electric, microgrid and electric vehicle electric solutions. He has over 24 years of experience in the utility industry, automated metering systems, management as well as business development and project delivery for federal energy and energy efficiency projects. Mr. Campbell holds a BS in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a MBA in International Business from Chaminade University and a MS in Energy Management from New York Institute of Technology. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is a certified energy engineer, certified demand side manager, certified power quality professional and a member of the Academy of Fellows of SAME. He resides in Carmel, Indiana with his family.
