Ruben Abreu is Director of Energy Efficiency at Ryan, LLC, the nation's largest property tax firm and a leader in green tax incentives. With over 12 years of industry experience, he leads a high-performing team of engineers, energy auditors, and home energy raters, overseeing data acquisition, feasibility studies, energy modeling, and certification for commercial and residential properties.
Ruben has driven the execution of over 50,000 energy audits and more than 125,000 energy performance analyses across diverse facilities in all 48 contiguous states and D.C. He has implemented KAIZEN-driven quality assurance measures, reducing human error by 97%.
Ruben holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in 50 states. He is also a Certified Energy Manager and Green Building Engineer (AEE), Lean Six Sigma certified, and holds an Executive Certificate in Project Management. Additionally, he is an FAA-certified Private Pilot (Instrument Rated) and UAS Remote Pilot.
